This was my first (and likely last) time exhibiting at Jet City Comic Show in Tacoma. The show floor was near-empty at times and traffic was super slow, so I don’t think I’ll be returning to this show. Nonetheless, I had a great time catching up with old friends.

I was happy to hang out with Ken, Aimee, and Lindsey over the weekend. Everyone’s booth set-up looked tiptop as usual, now I really want to upgrade my display for next year!

Post-con dinner at a really good Japanese restaurant!

Bellingham Comic Con 2016

I'm returning for the second year in a row to Bellingham Comic Con, October 22nd at the Ferdale Events Center! I had a wonderful time and great sales at this con last year, so I'm looking forward to debuting a lot of new art. Look for me at Exhibitor's Booth #25!

In the end, sales were about the same as last year (which is not a bad thing) and I’m still happy to recommend this event for any artists looking to get their feet wet in the convention scene. It’s just a really pleasant, low-key affair!

I'm participating in two panels with an amazing group of female creators at this year's GeekGirlCon! :)

  1. Turning Your Fanart Into A Career (Sunday, 11:30 - 12:30)

  2. Magic, Music, and Friendship: Steven Universe (Sunday, 1:30 - 2:30)

I was especially excited to share the first panel with art idol Claire Hummel, and the second panel with Jennifer Paz - the voice actress of my fave character Lapis Lazuli from Steven Universe! What an honor!

I feel so lucky to have shared a panel with this amazing group of talented ladies!

Rose City Comic Con 2016

I'm returning for a third year in a row to Rose City Comic Con (Sept. 10-11) at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR! Find me at Booth #1029 with a bunch of new posters, canvas prints, postcards and more. Hope to see you there!

In the end, sales were slightly up from as last year, and once again I’m pleased to recommend this show to anyone looking to start out as a con vendor. It’s a lot more manageable and low-key than Emerald City Comic Con, that’s for sure!
