I'm returning for the second year in a row to Bellingham Comicon, October 22nd at the Ferdale Events Center! I had a wonderful time and great sales at this con last year, so I'm looking forward to debuting a lot of new art. Look for me at Exhibitor's Booth #25!
I'm going to be participating in two panels with an amazing group of female creators at this year's GeekGirlCon! :)
- Turning Your Fanart Into A Career (Sunday, 11:30 - 12:30)
- Magic, Music, and Friendship: Steven Universe (Sunday, 1:30 - 2:30)
I'm incredibly excited to take part in yet another Cartoon Network art exhibition at Gallery Nucleus! Sadly I won't be able to make it in person, but my art prints will be available for purchase through the Gallery Nucleus website: Pas De Deux and You Lift Me Up.
There will be a costume contest on opening night, Oct. 31 from 2PM-8PM, so be sure to dress up as your favorite Cartoon Network character! :)
So I just learned with less than a week's notice that I'll be returning for the 2nd year in a row to Geek Girl Con! This is my favorite show and I'm thrilled to have made it off the waitlist. Come visit me at Exhibitor's Booth #212, Oct. 10-11 at the Washington State Conference Center!
I'm leading a kid's art activity and trunk show at the Wing Luke Museum, for their Family Fun Day workshop! I will be there from 11:30-1:30 on August 15 to do a painting demo and group drawing activity. Big thanks to May Nguyen for the great opportunity!
The event will mark the grand opening of their new exhibit, "Tales of Tales: Animals in Children's Books." I had the pleasure of serving on the planning committee for this exhibit, along with my husband Sam LaMonica and my friends Ken Taya and Rodney Bambao. Check it out on 8/15, it's going to be great!
I'm incredibly excited to announce that my art will be hanging up at Local Color Art & Coffee in Pike Place Market from June 6th to July 30th. Opening reception on Saturday, June 6 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM! Stop by to meet the artists, and get a free signed print from me while supplies last!
I've re-upped my ECCC booth this year with the same group of amazing local game artists! I'll have signed posters, postcards, and a bunch of new art from all my recent gallery shows. Hope to see you there!

I'll be sharing the booth with fellow artist friend Grace Fong. Hope to see ya there!
I'm incredibly excited to be a part of the Official Steven Universe / Adventure Time Exhibition, presented by Cartoon Network and Gallery Nucleus. I'm a huge fan of both shows, and Gallery Nucleus always curates such amazing exhibitions. If you're in the area, stop by for the opening night on August 9th from 7-9PM! Come for art, food, and a LIVE performance by Rebecca Sugar!
I have five original pieces for sale in the show, and I'll be there in-person for the gallery opening on August 9. Hope to see you there!
UPDATE 9/2014: This event was truly the highlight of my year - photos below! I had a wonderful time meeting so many talented artists at the Gallery Nucleus show, and I even got a private tour of Cartoon Network & Frederator Studios afterwards. HUGE thanks to Steven Sugar & Joe Johnston for the Cartoon Network tour, and to Eric Homan & Natasha Allegri at Frederator! You guys are an inspiration and I feel so fortunate to have had this opportunity!
After a few years away from the convention scene, I've decided to splurge for an Exhibitor's Booth at ECCC 2014, one of the largest conventions in the Pacific Northwest. My awesome coworker Ken Taya (Enfu) invited me to join his ECCC table group, which consists of about a dozen talented local game artists. I'm very proud to be among such talent at my first big convention!

An annual showcase of 50 local artists (each with their own display wall) is happening the historical Bemis Building all day March 22-23. I've got about ten pieces on display on the 4th floor.
Stop by and visit the amazing live/work artist lofts in the building! I will be there all Saturday afternoon, hope to see you there!
I'm so excited to be a part of the Great Personality exhibition by Light Grey Art Lab! The amazing team over at LGAL created a visual novel dating game (that you can download and play for free here) using a collection of character sprites and backgrounds created by artists all over the world.
The show will be opening at Light Grey Art Lab on January 24, 7-10PM. I contributed a set of character sprites for Francesca, an adorable baker who you can read about here. If you end up playing the game, try to win her heart when you visit the bakery!
Urban Light Studios will be hosting an exhibition of over 45 local Seattle artists, vendors, and musicians during Greenwood's Artwalk (held on the 2nd Friday each month at Urban Light Studios). The show is a loving tribute to the life works of Hayao Miyazaki, famed Japanese animation director of Studio Ghibli.
I've got two pieces for sale in the show... stop by for live music and incredible art!
